This is a compendium of the weekly saga of everyday life in the Big L and a wry look at contemporary life published by the Continental Telegraph (www.continentaltelegraph.com) between March 2018 and March 2019.
Life in the Big L certainly has its moments. Quinn is an intern at Number Ten and rubs up against the Prime Minister. It doesn’t help that her father is Chairman of the Conservative Party and used his influence to get her the post. Still, she can take comfort with her hedge fund boyfriend, Dancy, when not sparking off Aidan at work or dealing with her immediate manager, Carberry.
Ahmed’s world is different. Driving an Uber has its ups and downs. Mostly downs. Then there’s Jill, Andrew, Tim, Anna, Clarissa, Rocco, and a host of other characters who live in the Big L.
And let us not forget the Prime Minister’s husband, Desmond “Des”, a plumber.
All characters appearing in this work are fictitious.
Any resemblance to real persons, living or dead, is purely coincidental.
